]]> This is a picture of the National Monument in Washington DC taken this past weekend. I loved how the sun was being blocked thus creating this halo-like ring on the top of the tower. It was a beautiful day, thus a lovely picture.

]]> I took this pic on a cold Feb day in 2007 from my hotel room in downtown Cambridge, Massachusettes. I took it in color, but I like it in bw better. I did this through photoshop clicked the channels button, selected red, and then copied and pasted it to a new document. The snow is covering the river that flows right through the small city. I thought it was beautiful despite the weather, always something to take from nature.
